Leasing: The Solution

From dictionary.reference.com:

Lease: noun

1. A contract or instrument conveying property to another for a specified period... in consideration for (payment).

To most, though, leasing is considered a dirty word; one that never begs consideration. However, it shouldn't be - leasing is not the problem, but, indeed, a viable solution. Here's a few reasons why:

1. Lower payment ranges. Volvo leasing usually allows you to receive the same new Volvo for less monthly than purchasing.

2. Low/non-existent service costs. Although keeping your Volvo properly maintained according to factory specifications is a must, it's likely you won't have to worry about the costs of service that comes with high mileage.

3. Can be flexible. There are some scenarios where Volvo leasing can allow for flexibility in mileage, term, and payment. Of course, not every lease is the same, so it's best to ask the dealer.

4. New Car Smell... frequently! The average lease term is around 39 months; when it's time to turn the vehicle in, you have the option to get a new Volvo!

5. Purchase is optional. At the end of the lease term, if you really like the vehicle, you may have the ability to purchase it for the depreciated value as written in the leasing contract terms.

Leasing may not be for everyone, but it is the solution that allows those that may find it difficult to afford a new Volvo purchase a way to still have a new Volvo... and be able to get another new Volvo much sooner.
