The 4-wheel antilock disc brakes on Suburban^&reg; are standard. ABS is designed to help keep the vehicle's wheels rotating as the brakes assist the driver in achieving a controlled stop. Once activated, all 4-wheel ABS sensors monitor wheel rotation. Based on continual sensor monitoring feedback, they repeatedly release and apply pressure to the brakes, helping to eliminate wheel lockup while retaining driver steering ability. This feature is available only on&nbsp;1/2 ton models.

The 6-way power-adjustable right-front passenger seat in Suburban^&reg; lets&nbsp;a co-pilot get comfortable. This remarkable bi-state, real-time variable shock dampening system provides a refined ride with greatly reduced body motion. The system consists of a semi-active, 2-position dampening control system that responds in real time to road and driving conditions, based on body and wheel motion sensors. Rear air-assisted load-leveling shocks and automatic air level control help keep the vehicle level whether it's towing a trailer, carrying passengers or hauling cargo &ndash; or loaded up with a combination of these.

The available power-operated rear liftgate opens and closes at the touch of a button, making it especially convenient for loading groceries, supplies or other cargo. With its impressive trailer-towing capacity, Suburban^&reg; is&nbsp;an awesome choice if&nbsp;you&nbsp;need a serious tow vehicle. Case in point: the Integrated Trailer Brake Controller (ITBC). The&nbsp;ITBC allows you to hook up the trailer's electric brakes to your vehicle, integrating them with the brake, antilock brake and StabiliTrak^&reg; systems. There's only one brake pedal &ndash; pressing down on your vehicle's brakes will activate your trailer brakes. When driving situations activate your vehicle's antilock system or the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, the&nbsp;power sent to your trailer's brakes will be&nbsp;adjusted automatically to help minimize trailer wheel lockup. <br /><br />The available power output to the trailer brakes can be modified to suit a variety of trailering situations via the trailer gain adjustment on the trailer brake control panel mounted on the instrument panel. To keep you informed of your ITBC settings, the Trailer Gain and Output can be viewed in the Driver Information Center display.<br /><p>This feature is standard on 3/4 ton models. Your vehicle performs at its best with properly inflated tires - handling, ride, comfort and fuel economy¹ are all adversely affected by underinflated tires. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPM) includes air pressure sensors at each tire.²&nbsp;When the pressure falls below the recommended tire pressure, the driver receives a warning indicating the location of the low tire.
